As a reseller for GFI, we have been focused prior to my download
today, on selling and installing only GFI FAXmaker. However, things
soon changed after me and one of my larger clients tested GFI MailEssentials.
As a Microsoft Small Business Server MVP - http://mvp.support.micosoft.com
I am always looking at ways to improve SBS user experience of add-on
products. It is important for a SBS user, and my own companys
clients, to be able to use products themselves as often they do
not have internal dedicated IT staff. They rely on newsgroups and
small IT companies like NTES Limited to provide them with "click
and work" tools.
I have, in the past, always recommended Dataenter Limited XWall
product and Lakewood Communications XWallFilter. These two products,
whilst impressive, have not provided SBS users and my own clients
with the ease of use that GFI MailEssentials is now
doing. Also, the average size of a SBS site is 5 35 users,
and in this range GFIs pricing is currently far better than
the XWall / XWallfilter combination.
Apart from the anti-spam, disclaimers and mail archiving facilities
in GFI MailEssentials, they have a feature which I really did miss
in Exchange. A Listserver service. You can easily setup a discussion
list or newsletter list to notify your clients of events or alerts.
A facility like this is vital to any small company that wants to
keep their clients updated on events or the like.
This product ROCKS guys and gals! It has my very own patented Seal
of Approval. Try it out for free, you will not be disappointed!
