London, UK, 29 March, 2007 – GFI, the single source for network administrators to address their messaging and security needs, today announced that Simon Reed has joined the company as Vice-President of Product Engineering. He comes to GFI after six years as Director of Engineering at McAfee.

Mr. Reed, 37, will be responsible for all product strategy, software engineering and GFI Security Labs research activities at GFI. Prior to GFI, Mr. Reed spent 6 years at McAfee (NYSE: MFE) most recently as Director of Engineering, responsible for the development of the McAfee anti-virus scan engine and content scanning technologies. Before McAfee he held a number of technical and management leadership positions at Computervision, Parametric Technology and Linkguard.

Commenting on the appointment, Curtis H. Staker, Chairman and CEO, GFI said the Board of Directors and the GFI Executive Team were very pleased to have Mr. Reed join the organization.
